Fantastisk att bo i en gammal skola och känna atmosfären. Rustikt boende med charm. Väldigt trevlig personal som hjälpte med tips om hur vi skulle lägga upp vår sightseeing och ställen att äta på. Serverade jättefin frukost och goda pizzor och bakverk till kvällsmaten. Underbar sauna med utsikt över bergen.

Vi gillade allt, men det är på landet så insekter förekommer. Kan uppfattas som mörkt om man är mörkrädd.

such a unique location to stay in on the island of Shikoku. The hotel itself was super cool. Rooms are very spacious. Bathroom facilities were clean. Amenities and everything on site was great. Wifi worked great. Coffee and pizza are FANTASTIC. Note everything we ate was vegetarian while here, so if meat is a must have for you, just be aware. But we loved everything we ate. The staff were also so incredibly kind and engaging with us while we were there. At first the language barrier may be hard to navigate, but they truly cared about us, our trip, and chatted with us every morning while at breakfast. :) highly recommend this place if you want something off the beaten path in a unique area notes: mt tsurugi is ~2 hr drive away, oboke gorge is 20 mins away, Nagoro scarecrow village is ~2 hrs away, kagawa ~1-1.5 hrs away

I will say that if you are staying here, we would HIGHLY recommend renting a car to drive so you don't feel too isolated if you have plans and want to explore. That being said, you should also be confident in your driving skills to navigate extremely narrow streets and turns!
