The extravagant designer vacation home “NATÜRlich Wassermühle,” built in 1844, is the perfect vacation retreat for families and couples traveling together who want to spend their leisure time in the Schlei and Baltic Sea region and are looking for a truly special property. With 4 individually designed bedrooms, the house accommodates 5–8 people (plus a small child, if applicable) and is located in a quiet area not far from the center of Kappeln. The town center is just a few minutes’ walk away. The house’s tasteful interior design combines elements of country house and shabby chic styles with state-of-the-art amenities. The spectacular garden of the historic watermill became famous as a filming location for the popular ZDF television series “Der Landarzt,” as this is where police officer Sven Olsen called “Deekelsen” home. Two parking spaces are available on the property for our guests.

The house features an extravagant interior design ranging from country-style to shabby chic, complemented by various carefully selected works of art. The wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth even during the colder months. Entertainment options include free Wi-Fi, a Wii, three flat-screen TVs—each with a DVD player—as well as a hi-fi system and an iPod docking station. If the weather happens to be less than ideal, you can still enjoy the beautiful view of the park-like garden with its large pond from the two sunrooms. For sunny days, several outdoor seating areas in the garden are available for guests to use: lounge furniture right by the pond or the beach chair on the lovingly landscaped terrace—there’s a lovely spot for everyone. Younger guests will also love the spacious property: a children’s playhouse, fruit trees, and plenty of lawn invite them to play and “just be kids.” Your four-legged friends will find plenty of room to run around here. For wellness enthusiasts, the “NATÜRlich Wassermühle” vacation home is a wonderful choice, as it also features a sauna and an extra-large rain shower.
