Herrick House - NEW offering! Downtown Blue Hill.
Built in the heart of the Village in 1881 for Edmund Herrick. Fabulous intown location with lovely gardens and patio designed by sought after landscape designer, Greenman Design. Walk to all village amenities including restaurants, galleries, shops, library, wine shop/cafe and Kneisel Hall for classical music performances. Take in a show with New Surry Theater at the historic Town Hall or a short walk to the town park where you can relax with a good book, entertain kids at the playground, enjoy Steel Band music on Monday evenings (seasonally) or swim at high tide in the warmer inner waters of Blue Hill Bay. The path to hike Blue Hill Mountain is directly across the road and Shaw Institute monitors the local waters and provides a touch tank during special times. Comfortable living for an individual or enough room for a family or up to 3 couples. Two full baths and a washer and dryer make living on the road comfortable and easy. Living room with 65" flat screen Smart TV and pullout sofa. Bucklyn gourmet coffee right next door and fresh lobster and seafood a few steps down the road at the Fishnet. Blue Hill Co-Op and Cafe and YMCA only minutes drive. Your well behaved pet is allowed for a $75 fee! Only 1-2 people, ask about a discounted cleaning fee of $150!

Perfect location for downtown shopping and dining. Comfortable and well appointed. Short drive to many nearby attractions. Very private and quiet despite somewhat busy spot. Good parking. Historic quaint building modernized to optimize experience.

Perfect location for Acadia and Maine coast sightseeing. Right on the main drag in Blue Hill, with a busy coffee shop on the doorstep, which was great for us. Very quiet at night, however. The house is renovated, but still has historic charm. Clean, comfortable, and roomy for three adults, with direct access across the street to a trail that goes up Blue Hill.

Clean, cozy and great location. We had some communication difficulties- took a while to enter the location. The floors were a bit undeveloped and the stairwell was very steep. Made it a little difficult for the seniors.
