About this house rental
Come and enjoy an enchanting setting in a picturesque village just 15 minutes from Uzès, halfway between Avignon and Nîmes.
The 300 m2 Mas is a 17th century stone building, completely renovated with natural materials and decorated with care.
Relax by the pool in a green setting of 5000 M2 after discovering the surrounding historical sites.
The accommodation:
The farmhouse is warm and comfortable, it accommodates up to 12 people with its 6 bedrooms.
The place is ideal for families and groups of friends.
On the garden level:
• Bedroom n°1 (33 m2) independent, under a beautiful vault that preserves the freshness, double bed 160 x 200, large en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
• Bedroom n°2 ( 21 m2 ) independent with double bed 160 x 200, walk-in shower, sink and separate toilet. Baby cot 60 x 120.
• Bedroom n°3 ( 37 m2 ) independent with 3 single beds 90 x 200 air conditioning, en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and toilet.
• Laundry area with washing machine and dryer.PGJyPg
On the 1st floor - Access is via an old stone staircase.
• The living room opens through a double French window onto a shaded terrace.
• The kitchen has direct access to the terrace where meals can be taken. The kitchen is equipped with a Lacanche gas cooker, a large fridge and a dishwasher. A tap equipped with a water filter is at your disposal.
Baby chair available on request.
• Bedroom n°4 ( 18 m2 ) with 160 x 200 bed, adjoining shower room with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
• Bedroom n°5 ( 13 m2 ) with double bed 160 x 200, washbasin and air conditioning.
On the 2nd floor - Access is via a spiral staircase.
• Bedroom n°6 ( 26 m2 ) with view, air conditioning, bed 180 x 200, large en-suite bathroom with bath. old, washbasin and toilet.
Outside:
Large swimming pool of 12 m x 5 m, heated on request from April to June. Access to the pool is via a "Californian beach".
Around the pool, wooden terrace with sunbeds, a pergola to shelter from the sun and parasol.
Access to the pool area is secured by a wooden fence.
Hammocks, ping-pong table, petanque balls. Petanque court in the village 3 minutes walk away.
Near the swimming pool, a summer kitchen in the shade with table, plancha, sink and small fridge.
Possibility to park several cars within the farmhouse. Charging station for electric vehicles.
The surrounding area:
Beautiful walks are available to you, on foot or by bike (rental available in Uzès).
The Uzès market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Supermarkets and organic shops are 15 minutes away by car. There is a grocery store and a bakery in the nearby village of St Laurent La Vernède, a 5-minute drive away.
In the immediate vicinity of La Bruguière, you can enjoy 250km of marked trails in the hills of holm oaks, fig and olive trees, but also walks in the Garrigues.
For wine lovers, there are many tasting opportunities, especially in the vineyards of Costières de Nîmes, Tavel, Lirac and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The river La Cèze is 20 minutes away with canoeing activities which are also accessible on the Gardon with a beautiful view of the Pont du Gard. Canoeing is also possible in the Gorges de l'Ardèche, just 30 minutes from La Bruguière.
An aerial balloon ride offers a view from the sky over the rooftops of the historic city of Uzès and the Pont du Gard.
Only 14 kms away, the Golf Club d'Uzès offers a 9-hole course. Nîmes has two golf courses in Campagne and Vacquerolles (36 holes).
