Please, note that this is a lively downtown area. It’s not the place for those seeking a quiet retreat. You may hear people walking by at night from the nearby bars, and there may occasionally be homeless individuals passing by. However, there are no encampments nearby. Our building is old and, despite extensive renovations, the walls are still thin, so sound can travel.

Only issue is that in the amenities section of the listing it shows there is a washer and dryer but the listing says in writing that it does not have it, so just a little confusing. Not a big deal though, my in-laws stayed there and loved it.

Had a great time in Dartmouth, the apartment was very cozy a had every thing we needed to have a comfortable stay during our visit!

We enjoyed the location as it was close to the ferry and Saturday Market but out of the 9 short-term rentals we stayed during our vacation we found it lacked simple amenities that are very common in most short-term rentals. No salt or pepper, no face cloths, no extra tea towels, No dish cloth to wash dishes. No washer and dryer as noted as an amenity. When we left at 4:30 am, there was a homeless person in the hallway. So not sure I would stay in this location as a lone female. There was ash and possible joint butt in the hallway for our two day stay. Also to note, no elevator and you could be going up 3 flights of stairs. The hallways and stairs are narrow, something to think about.
