About this house rental
Welcome to Sunset Cabin located on North Westridge Road at Snowshoe Mountain. With just over 2,000 sqft, this cozy-feel home has ample space for all to be comfortable and the most amazing western views and sunsets. It features 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a kitchenette, and two living spaces. Sunset Cabin accommodates up to 12-13 guests comfortably.
Prime Location for Outdoor Adventures
During ski season, Sunset Cabin is just a 15-minute walk to Cupp Run slop, a renowned black diamond slope at Snowshoe Resort. OR just hop on the free shuttle that runs just about every 15 minutes (and on demand when you call) and it will take you straight to Cupp Run or anywhere else at Snowshoe you'd like to go. In the warmer months, guests are steps away from world-class hiking, mountain biking, and downhill bicycling.
It’s also just a 5 minute walk to The Brewery, the SNow Barn, The Fingers hiking/biking trail, and a 9-basket disc golf course.

Sunset Cabin offers stunning views of the Allegheny Mountains from its wrap around deck. Whether you're relaxing on the front porch, by the fire pit, or enjoying the view from the western facing deck, the breathtaking scenery is always within sight. Deer sightings are common, hummingbirds come back summer after summer, and you might even spot a black bear!
Spacious and Well-Appointed Accommodations
Bedroom One: King size bed w/ TV (top floor)
Bedroom Two: Queen size bed w/ TV (top floor)
Bedroom Three:Twin-over-double bunk beds (lower level)
Bedroom Four: Queen size bed w/TV (lower level)
Bedroom Five: Day bed with pull out trundle, & TV (main level)
Additional Sleeping Areas: Full-size sofa sleeper (lower level)
Entertainment: Five TVs with Roku (bring your own streaming accounts), and an extensive collection of board games including Catan, Say Anything, Monopoly, Scrabble, Chess, Jenga, Sorry, and Clue.
Kitchen: Well-stocked with basic spices, a coffee pot, toaster oven, waffle maker, teapot, bakeware, cookware, Crockpot, and a toaster. There is a Kureig coffee maker on the lower level with coffee and hot chocolate pods. The dining table seats 4 and there are folding tables and chairs that can be set up inside or outside. Additionally there is more seating on the lower level.
Outdoor Space: Large decks with mountain views, outdoor seating, fire pit, and a gas grill (we just ask that you clean it after each use).
Convenient Access
Transportation: Free shuttle service at the top of the driveway for easy access to Cupp Run, The Village, Silver Creek, and Top of the World.
Connectivity: The best available Wi-Fi on the mountain (100 mbps), though cell service may be limited.
Additional Information
Policies: Security deposit of $300 required. No pets, parties, or smoking. Maximum occupancy of 13, including all adults, children, and babies. Late check-out fee of $100 per hour. Must be 25 to book.
Parking: Free parking at the house. There is enough parking for 5 cars comfortable, 6 if you really squeeze them together.

This is a quite spacious place for the price. We had 9 guests and were not crowded at all. They have an on call shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the driveway. Kitchen is well appointed and there is a grill right outside the door on the deck. When we go back to Snowshoe we would definitely try to get this place again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very spacious for us and there were lots of amenities that we enjoyed. The shuttle system was great as well to take us where we needed to go.

I rate this 5 star for the following:-Host Kristin was exceptional with communication, and accommodating us on several of our special requests.-Parking at this house was fantastic, where as most all the other houses in this location are extremely challenging for vehicles. For instance several of our neighbors requested to use our additional parking spots because they could not access their driveways due to weather conditions/slope/space availability. -Snowshoe shuttle service to this address was tip top, definitely exceeded our accommodations. Bring some extra cash to tip the drivers it goes a long way., and is much appreciated as most of them have more than a 2 hour round trip commute to do their jobs.

The view and access to the shuttle made getting to the slopes very convenient! The host was nice enough to let us park our car at the cabin while we snuck in an extra day of skiing. My only advise is to read the welcome packet thoroughly. They only provide a couple extra paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls, and two dish washer tablets. We had to make a few extra runs down the mountain as a result.
