About this cottage rental

Newly Renovated! This home has close access to the 33 bi pass, and is on a scenic setting in Lancaster Ohio. We have this home set up for your next get away to Lancaster or the Hocking Hills region. The upper floor has an open floor plan with a recently upgraded kitchen, comfortable beds, a deck with table set overlooking the wooded and private back yard. There are is a staircase from lower level to reach the First Floor* 3 bedrooms are on the first floor with the master having private access to 1st floor bath. On the lower level (where you will enter home and park vehicle) you'll find several games and activities; a full bath and laundry room, Air Hockey, Foosball and game table, and to top it off ample seating in a comfortable great room with a full sofa sleeper. Out back: a 6 person hot tub, back deck, charcoal grill and sandstone steps that take you to the fire pit. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a 6-8 person hot tub, AC, Smart Tvs in all living and bedrooms, Internet with high speed WiFi, laundry room with washer and dryer. Fall in love with Lancaster and enjoy the magic Hocking Hills has to offer.

A "Starter* of the following items will be provided:
a roll of paper towels, 4-6 individual coffee pods, dish soap and 4 dishwasher pods, toilet paper and trash bags will be provided in kitchen and bathrooms.
Recommended items to bring: charcoal and firewood if using fire pit or grill, for stays more than 3 days, extra paper towels and toilet paper, laundry soap, and toiletries for personal use.

This rental has it all!! The host was very quick to respond to my questions. The house was so clean and beautifully furnished, down to the thoughtful details like extra outdoor seating, full size toiletries in the bathrooms, and lots and lots of fluffy pillows, blankets and towels. There was plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The game area in the basement was a nice touch. We had a wonderful experience here.

House was nicely updated and decorated. Space was great with lots of room and seating. Open concept kitchen and family room was great, and the deck seating and space was an added bonus. Basement was large with nice furniture, big TV, game tables and laundry room. Bathrooms had good space and nice sized showers. This place would have been comfortable for a group for a long stay. It's about 30 minutes to Hocking Hills Welcome Center. A gem of a house in the winding rural roads with privacy to feel that you're having a real getaway.

We were particularly impressed by the owner's attention to guest seating and sleeping comfort, cleanliness of the entire property and the quality of the bed linens and bath towels. Set in a wooded area, the home's elevated deck was a favourite space to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of birds and insects.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and charming. We enjoyed the games, hot tub, and fire pit tremendously. The Kitchen had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of hot water. We had no problem using both showers at the same time. There was plenty of space for our family of six. There are a lot of stairs, though. That was not made clear in the description. The stairs were hard on my knees and made it impossible for my sister to come over for some s'mores around the fire pit. The rural country setting is quiet and relaxing, and it is a short drive into Lancaster for Dining and shopping.

We had a group of 7 and this was the perfect day for our 4th of July celebration. We had five college age students and my husband and I. This place is beautifully decorated and you have so much space to spread out and easily accommodate a group. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to cook and plenty of space to feed everyone. We did Trails during the day and Hocking Hills and went to Lake Logan to swim. This house was perfect to prep for our days out and then come back and relax. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. We would definitely book again. Easy communication and wonderful host

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. Even when our outdoor plans didn’t work out due to rain, we still had plenty to keep us entertained at the house. We especially loved the hot tub and air hockey. All rooms and beds were very comfortable and house was very clean and updated.

Great, clean and amenity filled VRBO....in the hills of central Ohio...beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodations. Nicely decorated and renovated...pictures are representative of the decor and amenities. Nice hot tub and peaceful setting made this place one for the re-visit list. Great location if you are motorcycling the Ohio 555 loop. Town of Lancaster is very nice as well (older victorian homes and a thriving downtown (good restaurants and bars).

We (two couples in their 30s/40s) stayed here for a weekend meet-up and really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious with several activity options (pictures are accurate). It was clean and outfitted with sufficient supplies. The mattresses weren't the most comfortable, and there are no full-length mirrors. The house is tucked away off the main beat so take precaution on the roads, but it wasn't at all difficult to find and is less than 15 minutes from several food and shopping options. We would def stay here again. Head's up: the house across the street has a confederate flag in their front door that's visible from the rental. It has nothing to do with the host/this property (which were great), but it's worth noting for those who have concerns.

What a beautiful home! The house is so welcoming, decorated so tastefully with just about everything you would need! A little bit of a drive from the attractions but it makes it easier to have options. The only pointers I would give, a few more hooks for bathrooms towels, a few more silverware and that would drive this place above and beyond. Would absolutely book again!

At first when you are driving down the road to the house you’re not sure what you’re going to get based on other homes but this house was awesome. I loved the open floor plan, the game area in the basement, the bedrooms, and the hot tub! We had everything we needed (except a metal spatula, we used a plastic one). The first night we were going to get really bad storms and the owner stopped by and dropped off some flashlights - that was so thoughtful and sweet!! The house was very updated and a perfect place to stay for us to enjoy our vacation. Would definitely recommend!

This property was exactly what we were needing. The home is spacious, A lot of room downstairs for kids to keep busy with giving them a private area of their own. The top floor & bedrooms worked out just perfect. The property outside is also very nice and I loved the fact you are not on top of neighbors. Very peaceful. I did have one request, and the owners handled it promptly. They communicated very nicely. First time being in Ohio, so it took a little time to get use to the roads, there are stores that are close, Easy ride into town. We enjoyed this property so much we will request to use it again when we return to visit. We are grateful for the experience and very grateful to use this property. Just a lovely experience all around for us. Try it. You will not regret it.

This property is as good, if not better, than the online listing photos! The host has thought of it all with all of the little touches to make it feel like home! We loved the game room and the hot tub! It’s only 15 minutes from Lancaster which is filled with things to do and great places to eat! We did a Glass Blowing class at the Ohio Glass museum. Our perfect weekend ended with a proposal .

From the amazing split adjustable king bed in the master to the hot tub to the game room and tv’s in all the rooms-it offered something for everyone! About 30 min from Hocking Hills in a quiet area. This place was exactly what we were looking for!! Plenty of sleeping options for our group. Close to Lancaster, but far enough out in the hills to enjoy a couple stary quiet evening! Very clean and nicely remodeled!! We are already planning another trip that way to stay again!!

Beautiful home! Listing was very accurate, beds were super comfy! Not all details were listed in my email concerning check in. I had to message and text the owner a few times. A single Keurig was the only coffee pot, a few pods but not enough for three adults. Softer lighting with a couple of lamps would be nice. Overhead lighting was too jarring. The hot tub was an added bonus, warm & wonderful for a rainy weekend getaway.
