About this cabin rental
In the Shenandoah Valley's center, this lovely 3-bedroom cabin in Mount Jackson lets you enjoy nature's splendor. Surrounded by the lush George Washington National Forest, you can immerse yourself in nature and enjoy a range of outdoor activities, from hiking to skiing at the nearby Bryce Ski Resort, just a 7-minute drive away.
Unwind in the cozy cabin, where you can soak in the hot tub, surf the web with the free WiFi, or catch your favorite shows on the smart TV with satellite/cable channels. Indulge in home-cooked meals prepared in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances and utensils.
When you're not exploring the nearby Shenandoah River, just an 18-minute drive away, you can enjoy the cabin's outdoor features, such as the front deck, lighted pergola with hot tub, hammock and fire pit. Gather your loved ones for a game night, dive into a good book, or let the kids play with the selection of games provided.
With all the essentials covered, including a well-supplied bathroom, air conditioning, and linens, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.
This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and security deposit. We know security deposits are annoying, so to make it easier on you we have 2 options that you can choose between:
Option 1: Damage Waiver ($59) – Have a worry-free stay with coverage for up to $1,500 for accidental damage (spills, breaks, mishaps) with no surprise charges. Just relax and enjoy your stay. Coverage up to 10 nights, +$2/day for longer stays, and provided by a third-party insurance company.
Option 2: Security Hold ($2,500) – Temporary hold that releases after your stay.
To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account – it's a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

What a fantastic place to stay if you want to get out of the city and enjoy nature in its cold and warmth. My husband and I are business owners so it’s not often we get to relax. Nice breakfast in the patio, cave/cavern sightings during the day and at night jump in that hot tub to remove all the stress out of your body. House was loaded with everything you can imagine. We even got to utilize the fire pit before we got in the hot tub. Amazing reset, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
