Welcome to your own Berkshire's retreat! Our 6 bedroom estate on 4 acres is perfect for large families and groups to gather and relax.
Centrally located in the heart of the Berkshires you'll find yourself 10 minutes from Pontoosuc Lake and Jiminy Peak, walking distance to the Ashuwillticook Bike Path, and an easy drive to Mt. Grelock, Tanglewood, Ramblewild, Mass MoCA and more.
Relax poolside, soak in the hot tub, throw down in the game room or explore endless things to do just minutes away!
Whether you're planning a summer pool getaway, a cozy winter hot tub escape, or a multi-family reunion, this home was built for gathering.
If you’re looking for a peaceful yet activity-filled Berkshires escape with room for everyone, this is it.
Our home features a total of 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms divided between a main house and in-law apartment suite, all within the one private retreat.
You will have full access to the post-and-beam primary with 4-BRs, lofted living room with desk and daybed, basement TV Room and laundry room, and spacious kitchen; as well as the in-law suite featuring 2-BRs, full bathroom, and a second full kitchen, living room, dining area, and laundry room! The property offers ample space for extended families who want to come together and also have the option of private moments.
Amenities include:
- Private seasonal pool (15x30 ft)
**UPDATE** We are installing a brand new pool heater, estimated to be ready by the start of June at the latest.
- Hot tub open year-round
- Expansive 4-acre property with room to roam
- Large dining room for group meals
- Multiple living areas (space to spread out)
- Separate in-law suite for added privacy
- Fire pit + indoor fireplaces
- Endless indoor & outdoor games
You will be centrally located to the best of the Berkshires' attractions! Examples include:
- Minutes from lakes and mountains
- Pontoosuc Lake (5 mins)
- Jiminy Peak Ski Resort (10 mins)
- Mt. Greylock
- Ashuwillticook Rail Trail within walking distance
- An EASY drive to Tanglewood, Ramblewild Adventure park, and MASS MoCA
Several lakes nearby provide many opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, jet & water skiing, and more! You can even rent a Pontoon Boat and relax or party the day away on Pontoosuc Lake.

Rain, shine or snow, there’s always something to do.
The main dining room features a large wood-burning fireplace, there's a wood-burning stove in the living room, and there is also an outdoor fire pit. Some firewood is provided to get you started!
Pet Friendly: We can host up to 3 dogs. The pet fee is $100 for one dog, $150 for two dogs and $200 for three. We ask that dogs are kept on a leash while outside the property and about the neighborhood, for everyone's comfort. Please remember to clean up after your pets and mind that additional fees for pup-related damages may apply! Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Finally, unfortunately we cannot host cats or other furry animals due to potential allergy issues.
Additional sleeping space beyond the 6 bedrooms: There's a Twin Day Bed plus Twin trundle in the Loft area above the main living-room.
Outdoor/Indoor Games: The house is chock full of popular outdoor games and equipment, including Volleyball, Badminton, Pickleball, Basketball, and Croquet. The indoor Game Room is equipped with a Ping-Pong Table, Shuffleboard, and Foosball.
About the pool: The pool typically opens around Memorial Day and is closed around the beginning of October, weather depending.
Local Discounts for our Guests: We have secured 10%-Discounts for our guests at Berkshire U-Drive Boat Rentals, Berkshire Bike & Board, and the Lanesborough Local General Store, and the "Elle Day Spa" has put together special packages for our guests during their visit. All of these are located within 3.5 to 5 miles of the property. Discount access codes provided upon booking so guests can pre-book their rentals or spa packages =)
Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings, and avoid leaving out food and trash. There are a couple of super cute Highland cows next door that you may see come to the property line fence. Please do not touch or feed them.
Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. Even though our home is easily accessible, it is always helpful to have 4WD to drive in the area in the winter.
Air conditioning: Please mind that AC is seasonal and available during the summer months only.
Power and Internet: It is not uncommon to lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for the loss of power or internet out of our control.
Strict no smoking, no parties, no fireworks. Please mind that the noise ordinance is 10 PM.
Please mind that you must be 25 years old to book, and at least one person 25 years old must remain during the stay.
Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler's insurance.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was perfect for our big group—very clean, spacious, and comfortable for everyone. We especially loved the hot tub and the game room. The host was very friendly and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything so easy.

The place was great! The kids loved the pool and we were basically half an hour or less from every place we wanted to see! The hosts were super responsive and the place was clean and welcoming.

We've done a 3-generation, week-long, summer family vacation in the Berkshires for the last few years. This one was the best, at least in part because this house worked really well. There was room to spread out, run around, play in the pool, hang out, toast marshmallows, rest... We love to cook and eat together, so we liked the kitchen facilities, dining area, and especially the pool deck: tables, awning, and grill. Most of the area attractions, shopping, etc., are pretty easy to get to from Lanesborough. The neighborhood makes for very pleasant early-morning walks. Any issues or concerns we had were addressed quickly and courteously. On this vacation we felt that we didn't have to go anywhere else to enjoy our time together.
