3 Elm Court

Fantastic location, right on the canal, train in front only small steam train wonderful to see and hear , everything you could want for your stay is in the apartment, parking and outdoor space, lovely and quiet. Easy access to everything, a walk to Hythe along the canal or easy to drive .

Nothing it was perfect for us .

The property was spotless. The cleaner did an excellent job. There was everthing you needed . I would say bring a t towel with you as that was the only thing missing. When sitting in the front room you can see the mini train go pass . The shower is a excellent size not a small one .

The bed has a thick sponge ontop of the mattress which makes you hot , if you like soft pillows bring some with you as the ones on the bed are very hard. Also the toilet seat is broken and needs a new hinge. I did inform Booking.com of this as soon as I arrived and hopefully this will be passed on. You can not walk to any shops but parking isnt a problem out side the property and you can drive to the nearby supermarkets. The pub isnt far away mind.

Comfortable bed and furniture. Good amount of space for a week long stay. Bathroom was modern and the wifi was fast. Large TV in the living room as well. Good value for money compared to other properties in the region.

The house was very clean and didn't appear to have a damp problem but unfortunately when I stayed the entire house had a musty smell which was in turn made all of my clothes and some other belongings also smell damp and musty too. This may have to do with the time of year I stayed, February, when maybe the place hadn't been aired out or had any windows open for a while. This wasn't a major issue because I simply washed my clothes when I returned home but this may put off someone with a strong nose. I would have liked some information on what to do with recycling - nothing in the information pack about this and I would have found clarifying that useful.
