Amundøya Boathouse

- sehr schöne Umgebung mit Holzsteg, tolle Aussenmöbel (oft aber regnerisches Wetter in Norwegen und nicht benutzbar) - Haus ist klein & hübsch

-Bett war unbequem -Dusche extrem klein, aber für 1-2 Tage geht das schon Whirlpool Der Whirlpool war im Inserat aufgeführt, ohne Hinweis auf Zusatzkosten. Vor Ort wurde uns die Nutzung ermöglicht – ohne Erwähnung von Gebühren. Im Nachhinein sollten wir plötzlich 60 € für Holz und Reinigung bezahlen. Das war weder transparent noch fair.

Staying here was a little slice of heaven. The boathouse is small but that is what we expected. A stove top and a fridge and equipped to cook simple meals. A BBQ was available but we didnt use it. The view was amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful. We LOVED the hot tub. It is a wood heated hot tub so no jets but it worked great. We started it in arrival and had a nice long soak in it. When we got up in the morning it was still hot. So,we relaxed and soaked it some more. Hotels and apartme ts don't have bathtubs which I have missed a lot while here but this was better than a bath tub. The view was so relaxing. We took a quick dip in the ocean and then warmed up in the hot tub the morning we left. Driving away we remarked how quiet and peaceful the entire area was. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great overnight stop over - tucked away from the main tourist spots (not a motorhome in sight!), but close enough to explore the Atlantic Road.

The shower is the tiniest shower I've ever been in!
