Modern Deluxe Kitchen, King Bed, Laundry, DT Renton close to Valley Med & SeaTac

While it was a little further from Seattle than listed, the commute was typically easy and we arrived in 30 minutes to our destination. Located in charming downtown Renton, many restaurants, bars, and shops were walkable from the apartment. And the Jimi Hendrix Memorial was close by! Who knew! The apartment was well appointed, but had a few quirks, such as slanting floors, and doors that open into one another. The kitchen had everything you need to cook and the linens and decor were good quality. There was a welcome book with helpful information and the Wi-Fi worked well. Additionally, the hosts were responsive to our needs.

The thing that drove us crazy was the security camera that spoke loudly warning you that “you were being recorded” every time you went in or out the front door. While I understand it is a security feature, it made loading and unloading your car upon check-in/checkout and daily comings and goings quite annoying. Is there a way to turn it off at these times? We were asked to take our shoes off upon entering the apartment, but there was no place to sit to do so...we aren't spring chickens and didn't have on slip-ons, as it was cold and we were walking a lot...think boots, lace up sneakers, etc. but we did it anyway with difficulty. We heard folks above us walking around with shoes on. There was a tray provided across the kitchen from the entry to hold shoes and a nice little coat rack on the wall overhead, but no bench or chair. Also, I mentioned the quirks. Here is what we noticed, there was not enough room to stand at the bathroom sink even with the door shut. The bedrooms lacked mirrors, which is necessary when there's only one bathroom. There was a large community mirror in the kitchen area, but it was too low for the average adult to use. The closets lacked usable storage because they housed linens and cleaning equipment. A luggage rack would be helpful. There were lots of hangers though! We aren't short, but a step stool would also be useful to reach the upper kitchen cabinets and the stacked dryer controls. Bring an extension cord or extended outlet for charging electronics. There were a few housekeeping details in the kitchen that could improve but the floors and linens were clean. There was no usable outdoor space, just a gravel drive.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable beds, the owners were quick to respond & easy to work with, & great location with many great shops within a 5 minute walk.

The home was absolutely perfect. So comfy and felt just like home. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. The home itself was spotless. The host was amazing as well anytime I sent a message he responded almost immediately. I also asked for an early check in and he was happy to accommodate. This place is 10/10 stars highly recommended and we will definitely return in the future. Thanks again for everything:)

Well appointed and very clean. Beds were comfortable . Air conditioning did not reach all areas. Still very highly recommend this place.
