Quiet and safe neighborhood. Good location. 3-5 minutes to station. Once you are on the train, it’s only 4 minutes to Namba or Shinsaibashi.

Actually not a big issue. But they should improve the check out cleaning. When I checked in, the washer was not cleaned enough. The filter bag was full of dirt stuff from previous tenants.

Written communication with the owner, in English, was excellent, and the owner was always very accommodating. However verbal communication was another matter ( see below). The property is in a quiet, residential neighbourhood, very close to 2 Metro lines, a supermarket and 2 convenience stores. Like many Japanese apartment, it is small. The bed, which took up most of the room, was comfortable. There was a washing machine in the bathroom, which had a shower and a separate toilet.

-We received detailed access instructions, but were unable to access the key and needed to call the owner, who could only speak Japanese so could not immediately assist. Eventually we improvised and managed to retrieve the key. Later the owner replied by email that we needed to send them a photo of the post-box where the key was located. Ridiculous! Had -we not managed to retrieve the key ourselves, for how long were we expected to wait in the street? The kitchen has a stove/oven and a microwave, but for the rest is poorly equipped and only suitable for preparing very basic meals. Insufficient plates - only small bowls, no glasses - only cups. - There was floor noise from the upstairs apartment at all hours of the night which was annoying.
