Bed configuration-could have had 1 more double / queen downstairs

Some of the facilities were in poor condition and needed repair and cleaning but we just had to put up with them at the time. The top of the exhaust fan was filthy, looked like Vermont droppings; the ensuite of one bedroom had a totally blocked basin and a badly cracked toilet seat. The BBQ gas ran out in the middle of barbecuing and we were expected to take the bottle to be refilled, pay and claim cost back. The whole house ( cooking, heating etc)was on large gas bottles and instructions were when one ran out just switch to other and notify agent and they would refill. That was good except both bottles were empty! Many little things not attended to that we felt should have been checked between each letting when the price paid for a week was quite high.
