Old Street 1-Bedroom Entire Apartment Central London

The best thing about this apartment was its excellent location. It is very close to Old Street station, making it easy to travel anywhere in London by Underground or bus. There are also plenty of shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants nearby, which was very convenient during our stay. In addition, the neighbourhood felt safe and pleasant at all times. Another very positive aspect was the cleanliness of the apartment. The interior was spotless when we arrived, and it was clear that it had been thoroughly cleaned and prepared for guests. Although the building itself is quite old and the common areas could be cleaner, this did not reflect the condition of the apartment inside. The apartment was comfortable for our family of four. We had two bedrooms with double beds, a TV with Netflix for the children, and a dining area with a table and sofa where we could eat together. The kitchen was well equipped and included tea, cocoa powder, washing-up liquid and basic cooking utensils. We also appreciated having shampoo, shower gel and conditioner available in the bathroom. The shower and sink being separate from the toilet was another practical feature.

The main issue was the check-in process. We arrived after the official check-in time of 3:00 PM, but the keys were not available at the agreed collection point. The situation was eventually resolved when a staff member met us at the apartment with the keys, but it caused unnecessary inconvenience after travelling. Another significant problem was the toilet cistern, which took around 15 minutes to refill after flushing. This was inconvenient for a family of four. I informed the owner about the issue, but no solution was offered during our stay. The response was simply that no previous guests had complained about it. The mattresses were acceptable for a short stay, but heavier guests may find they do not provide enough support. The building itself is also quite old, and the common areas could benefit from better maintenance and cleanliness.

Le logement était très sympathique par contre beaucoup de poussière mais sinon rien à signaler

la poussière en dessous du lit du salon qui n'a pas été faite depuis un très long moment je pense

El tamaño del apartamento es perfecto para 4 personas y tiene todo lo necesario, había hasta café para desayunar. La limpieza de 10 y la localización también, hay supermercado y parada de metro y autobús a 5 minutos andando. La zona es muy buena si quieres ver el Londres más alternativo y tranquilo. El anfitrión responde super rápido y nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitábamos. Incluso al llegar la calefacción estaba puesta porque le dijimos que nos preocupaba pasar frío ya que fuimos en pleno febrero. Todo genial!

Lo único que no nos gustó fue que el colchón de la cama doble supletoria del salón es demasiado fino, se nota el somier y era bastante incómodo dormir ahí.
