Shoreditch London Apartments

The location was perfect, close to Liverpool Street subway station, the bus stop was right in front of the building. Grocery store, coffee places and great Thai restaurant are all within 3 minutes. We felt safe in the neighbourhood. The apartment was really specious (it was 4 of us). The checkin instructions itself were clear.

1. COMMUNICATION: The checkin information were confusing, after booking, I received an info that I will have to fill in a checkin form and that the instructions will be sent 3 days prior to arrival. I haven't received anything, so I waited till day before the arrival - nothing, so I tried WhatsApp - no response, so I decided to call and the guy informed me there is no form and that they will share the instruction in the morning of the arrival day. Finally, we received info around noon that day. The wi-fi password was written with some capitals, in reality there are none so we had some troubles logging in at the beginning. 2. LOCATION: The apartment is on a noisy street, especially Fri-Sun, you can hear everything (we were up on the 1st floor), people are just standing on the street laughingh, drinking and talking (there are bars and restaurants) 3. APARTMENT: there was a significant piping smell in the corridor in front of the apartment after a few days (we stayed for 5 days) that we could smell In the apartment, the kitchen could use a dish drainer. There was no wi-fi or signal in one of the bedrooms.

Perfect location open and airy with outdoor space and very secure

Sofa beds and extra bed weren’t usable which was very frustrating as the mattress was to thin and could feel every spring, outdoor space was a mess could do with rubbish removed and a clean up easy things to fix

Convenient key collection

Actual apartment location and quality differed from that advertised when I made the booking, meaning a longer walk than I'd envisaged and not as good (sofa) beds. I would have considered alternative accommodation if I'd known about the location and lower quality apartment.

Check in was smooth and easy, but some of the information was a little outdated but figured it out very quickly. Location is good.

Stayed in apartment 9B, the shower was broken, no plug for the bath so we couldn't bathe properly. The whole bathroom needs TLC. Rooms are small. Even though we were provided a very big fan the apartment got ridiculously hot with the heatwave and on a night it got difficult to sleep.
