Pet-Friendly Pool Retreat 5 Min to Comal River

The location wasn’t bad. It seemed safe enough. I was able to bring my dog with me and overall, it was priced about the same as local hotels in the area.

The place was advertised as a pool retreat but the pool was broken and had been for some time. This was not communicated to us prior to arrival. No pool for the entire duration of our stay. We requested a cancellation but the host would only offer a discount and public pool credits for 2 days. When I asked when these would be refunded to me, I never received an answer. There were roaches in the apartment, including squished ones in the freezer seal. I also had to spray for them at one point because so many of them came out from under the refrigerator.
