Welcome to enjoy Tahkon Talitintti – a peaceful log cabin nestled in the stunning nature of Tahko, close to the diverse services and activities of the Tahko ski resort area.
Tahkon Talitintti is a bright and well-equipped semi-detached house located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few kilometers from the center of Tahko. This accommodation is ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends or colleagues. The location provides excellent opportunities for relaxation and remote work, as well as skiing, golfing, mountain biking, water activities, and other outdoor pursuits all year round.
Built in 2007, this Kontio log-structured semi-detached house comfortably accommodates up to eight people.
The heart of the cabin is a high and bright living area, where a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room create a cozy space for shared moments. Large windows opening to the backyard bring in plenty of natural light and views of the surrounding forested nature. A charming heat-storing fireplace adds warmth and a cabin atmosphere, while underfloor heating, an air source heat pump (cooling/heating), and mechanical ventilation ensure comfort.
On the ground floor, there are two separate bedrooms. Both have double beds that can be separated into single beds if needed. Additionally, the ground floor includes a spacious bathroom, an electric sauna, and a separate toilet. For laundry care, a washing machine and drying cabinet are available.
The spacious loft upstairs serves as both a sleeping and living area. The loft has four sleeping places, its own toilet, and a remote work station. Gentle stairs and child gates at the top and bottom of the stairs enhance safety for families with children. The cabin's amenities also consider the needs of the youngest family members.
You can also enjoy the nature of Tahko on the cabin's large back terrace by the gas grill or in the atmospheric private grill shelter in the yard. In winter, ski trails are accessible almost directly from the property, and the shore of Lake Syväri is just a few minutes' walk away. There is space for sports equipment in the locked outdoor storage next to the terrace.
Located 65 km northeast of Kuopio, Lake Syväri is 300 m away, with a public child-friendly beach 2 km away at Tahkonlahti, no boat included.
Getting around the property and its surroundings is easy, even with an electric car, as the cabin offers a Type 2 charging station (11 kW) for hybrid and electric vehicles for an additional fee. Charging must be booked in advance, and the price is automatically calculated based on the number of days reserved, including a maximum of 25 kWh of charging. Any excess consumption is charged at €0.30/kWh based on actual usage, billed later by the owner. You will need your own Type 2 charging cable for car charging.
The property is not rented to groups where all guests are under 25 years old.
