Casa Franciska - Apartment near Trastevere & Villa Pamphili

Franciska es una persona excepcional y una gran, pero gran anfitriona. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento, se respetó nuestra privacidad y espacios y sentíamos todo como si estuviésemos en nuestra propia casa. Todo muy limpio, organizado y con detalles pequeños que hacen que el viaje de uno deje de ser bueno y se vuelva excepcional. No podemos dejar de recomendar este alojamiento.

A really nice area to discover during your stay in Rome. It’s not very close to center, however, we really enjoyed the walks around. Franciska is an amazing host and she made our stay even nicer.

Franciska ist eine außergewöhnlich nette und herzliche Gastgeberin – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Ihre Wohnung überzeugt auf ganzer Linie: zwei gemütliche Zimmer mit einem gemeinsamen Badezimmer, einem eigenen Eingang und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre, die sofort ein Gefühl von Zuhause vermittelt. Die Betten waren bequem, die Wohnung gepflegt und die Lage sehr praktisch – mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kommt man schnell und unkompliziert überall hin. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wer eine persönliche, liebevoll geführte Unterkunft sucht, ist bei Franciska genau richtig. Eine absolute Herzensempfehlung!

The apartment is located in a good area and close to bus and train connections leading to the city centre and tourist attractions. The hostess is nice and offered some nice suggestions for places to eat or buy things nearby. The place is really well kept and clean, looks very authentic, and has no cheap Ikea furniture that one otherwise has in short-term rentals.

The downside is that the website stated that there is a kitchen with appliances listed below it, but when we got there, the hostess informed us that we don't get access to the actual kitchen but instead we have a kettle in the one room with instant coffee and tea bags and a mini drinks fridge in the other. For a one or two night stay, that would have been ok; otherwise, it is inconvenient. The description on the website is a little misleading, so beware of that. When asked about drinking water, we were told to fill up water in the bathroom. We opted to buy water from the corner shop instead. Eventually, what you get are two bedrooms and a bathroom. For us, the place would have been ok for a one or two night stay, but not longer. We stayed the planned 4 nights because we were not able to find an alternative in such a short time, and we were leaving to another city with an already booked accommodation anyway.
