Kenneth was a very kind and welcoming host, welcoming us and responding almost instantly to all questions and inquiries. The apartment keys even included a bicycle lock key, for the bicycle by the apartment that he let us use (we didn't use it, but it could be practical for other guests). The apartment was already warm at the time of check-in. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is modern and amazingly well-equipped for a 4-person stay. The bathroom is also modern with a large shower. The location is perfect because it's semi-urban with supermarkets nearby - halfway between Stockholm northbound and Årsta Havsbad with a beach down south. In short, there's everything for a family stay, regardless of its duration, whether short or long!

Not that it's the host's fault, and this was only important to us because we came with a rental car, but the parking situation was a bit confusing (especially because this was our first time driving in Sweden). Basically, the way we understood it, you need a parking card, which enables you to park for free for up to 3 hours during the day (if you're lucky enough to find a space in a small lot on the street near the building, where it's posted as such), otherwise it's free during nighttime. If there's no space there, you're not allowed to park by the building because those spaces are reserved, as well as by the neighbouring kindergarten building, so you're either subject to getting permission from Aimo (although on their app and website, the raised parking lot by the neighbouring building isn't even listed, but you need to contact them somehow to obtain the pass, otherwise you risk getting a fine), or paying for the EasyPark lot across the street which we ended up using. Bear in mind these aren't complaints nor something that's in the host's control - it's only information I wish we had had before booking the property. Other than that, don't count on smoking on the balcony if it matters to you (that's what we did), because the host informed us the neighbours would complain; instead, there are some nice benches outside by the building for that. Also, there was no hair dryer in the bathroom; however, the host isn't to blame because it's his apartment and he's bald :) So you might want to take your own if it matters to you. The apartment building is near both a hospital and a fire department, which is surely a plus, but you also expect to hear sirens on the main road next to the building.

The apartment was nice and felt homey. It was exactly as showed in the pictures at the booking.com website. It is a self contained apartment though sometimes you had to figure out where some stuff were.

I didn't like the beddings for example the pillows need to be changed and to be a bit bigger, the bed sheets or the fleece to be smooth and ironed.

The location was perfect for my needs; it was close to the local commercial center and to other points of interest from that area. The rooms were comfy and well equipped.

Not a problem with the location per se, but during the summer day, the apartment could get a lil hot.

Der Gastgeber hat mir den Schlüssel persönlich übergeben und mir alles gezeigt. Es war ein freundliches treffen und man sah, dass der Gastgeber bemüht war dass es mir an nichts fehlte. Alles war top!
