Ski In, Ski Out Cozy Creek Side Cabin w Front Yard

Property is older and although renovated overall, it still showed some wear and tear. Minor issues were encountered

Obviously, it's not a cabin, but a nicely appointed unit on the mountainside, ground floor of the Ski Time Square building. Easy walk to the ski mountain and our favorite Apres Ski location, the TBar! Rustic decor with gas fireplace as primary heat. Shares a couple large outdoor hot tubs and a nice sauna with about 70 other units. Mid January was probably less than half full with long and short term renters. Unit has been well cared for and has everything for 2-4 people, 6 would be a stretch unless 2 were small kids. Master is a queen bed in an open loft with a pull out sofa next to it, 2nd adult bedding is a large pullout on the ground floor. Kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated and have everything needed for cooking in. Hardwood floors and kept very clean. Washer and dryer in suite if you need it. End unit, so very quiet. Ski locker is just a few steps away. Close (300 yards), downhill to the transit center for free buses to town. Communication with owner was great, though not needed for much.

The unit was great, the surrounding area could be better for services. Very little in the way of grocery shopping at the resort base, so plan ahead if cooking in for meals, as the store is a bus or car/Uber ride away. Liquor/beer store at the Steamboat Grand, and Starbucks at the Sheraton. Parking was available, but we didn't need it during our 5 day stay. Plan ahead for shuttle service to and from the Airport (HDN). A few restaurants and bars for breakfast/coffee and apres ski, but all close by 8-9, so downtown if you go out later. Ski in/Ski Out means a 50 yard walk, but that is very common for the area, and the walk is flat. Hot tubs were at the far end of the building, so bring a robe or sweats for the walk/elevator ride.
