The Observatory 2BR with Acropolis View by JJ Hospitality

The location of the apartment is excellent and gave us easy access to all the places we wanted to walk around in Athens. The view of the acropolis is visible from both the bedrooms and the kitchen seating area, so it was nice to see it at different times of the day. Communication with the hosts was great, and they were quick to respond to any questions (but they also ignored some comments).

The cleanliness wasn't great. A lot of older cloth furniture (especially kitchen chairs) that needs cleaning. The shower curtain in the bathroom was overdue for washing. The curtains in the main bedroom were falling off, and the shutters wouldn't work so we couldn't block out the streetlight from down below at night. A strange smell when we tried to use the heater/AC in the living room, but when I mentioned it to company they never acknowledged it so we just left it off and didn't use that room much. This will be different if you are there when it is hot and can't use the A/C.

The location was great, the hosts were excellent and the communication was wonderful.

Remember to bring mosquito repellent! They bothered us quite a bit. :-)
