Friendly and helpful host

We were prepared for the steps up to the apartment - but it was still a slog with suitcases! We were met by Antonella who showed us around the apartment and gave us some information on the local area. The apartment is spacious and really clean - and like everyone says, the star is the huge balcony! We had breakfast out there most mornings and drinks in the evenings. The apartment is perfectly located for lots of cafes, bars and restaurants - all of which were very good and reasonably priced. The ferry port is about a 20-25 minute walk from the apartment, same for the train/bus station. The Imorticelli Cultural Hub is across the road from the apartment (an old church - you can see it from the balcony) which is open at weekends - we ventured over there one evening to see what was happening and were welcomed inside where we had drinks (there's a small bar) and chatted to some lovely local people. On another night, they were showing a film outside and anyone was welcome to sit down and watch. Antonella also left us information about a small group Amalfi Coast boat trip which her aunt runs - we decided to go for it and had a fabulous day out. There were 7 of us in total on the boat, we had 3 swimming stops, got off the boat in Amalfi for a hour or so, and the cost included transport to and from the apartment, lunch, drinks and snacks - we would highly recommend this!

The listing says 2 bathrooms, so we had assumed there would be 2 shower rooms, but in fact it's one bathroom with a shower and one additional toilet with sink.
