Sotto le Mura, appartamento Quercia

Everything was perfect 10/10, so good we extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights. Alessandro, allowed an early check in & met us at the apartment to show us around, he was very attentive during our stay and provided recommendations for shopping, restaurants and drives around Tuscany. His English was exceptional. New build, spotlessly clean, with washing machine and dishwasher. Kitchen had everything you needed. Plenty of space to spread out, with loads of hangers and hanging space! Hot powerful shower. Fantastic size terrace looking onto orchard and old city wall....orchard fireflies came out once dark. Free secure parking under the property (we hired a car in Siena....note: it was a good 40 min walk to car hire place, but worth it, you must drive around Tuscany countryside and this apartment makes the perfect base) Lift available for luggage to 3rd floor. Aircon available in every room. Photos 100% accurate. Short walk from train station with luggage, slightly up hill but no steps. About 15 min walk up gradual hill to city gates. Big supermarket 5 min walk away near train station. Siena is clean, safe and calm, lovely city, no tourist tat stands and restaurant touts hassling you like in other cities.

Nothing, everything was great. (Alessandro mentioned, in time, they will replace the small bistro table on terrace with a larger table as there is so much room available.... that was only tiny recommendation I could make 😁)

Communication with the property hosts was fantastic, right from the moment we first contacted them to ask some initial questions to help us decide if it was the right place for us. This continued through the build up to our stay and during - no question was too small and answers were always prompt and friendly. When we arrived, we were greeted extremely warmly and professionally, and given all the information we needed. The apartment was super spacious and exceedingly clean. It had an amazing amount of really useful storage throughout. Everything seemed really good quality, from the actual building itself, the decor, the kitchen appliances, the shower, the furnishings, and even right down to the small details such as the crockery and cutlery. The outdoor terrace was private, spacious, and a lovely place to relax. The bonus of secure garage parking was excellent - for us it was a place to safely store bikes. However, it was spacious and accessible enough to make taking a car there an easy option. The location of the apartment is below the main attractions, therefore requires a 20 minute uphill walk into restaurants and tourist attractions. However, it is pleasant and not too strenuous - we did it each evening, even after cycling through the day! There is a bus for those not wanting to walk. The apartment is ideally situated for the train station, with easy access on foot. I would definitely recommend this accommodation very highly.

Lá struttura era in una posizione eccellente sia per andare in come in stazione, appartamento pulito ben arredato, c’era tutti gli attrezzi in cucina, i letti erano comodissimi, una bellissima veranda con tanto di verde, Alessandro è di una gentilezza unica, sempre pronto per qualsiasi necessità, un soggiorno veramente bello mi sono sentita in casa.
