Excellent location, easy access

A couple places inside were a bit dirty. The gate was a little loud and a little janky

The north end is close to family. I am familiar with the area. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was the best! The kitchen was efficient. We enjoyed the mini deck.

I would have liked a bright light over the bathroom mirror. Maybe more light in the walkway, was a bit dark in areas.

Great, convenient location in a tranquil neighborhood near park(s), Hyde Park, and Downtown. Good lighting inside and outside. Host provided very clear instructions for arrival and self check-in. Host was also very responsive and helpful with any questions. AC, TV, and wifi worked well. It was nice to have a proper kitchen with enough utensils. The patio was relaxing, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was fine (if you ignore the bugs). Plenty of TP and towels. Maybe the jar of cotton swabs was empty? Generally, it was a good experience.

ELM SEED BUGS. Everywhere. Even on the shower mat. (They're not harmful, but I wouldn't want them anywhere inside.) Some of the planks of the deck/steps were worn out and felt unsafe. The sofa and ottoman could use a replacement. And less pillows could be nice. Host asked us to leave on time so housekeeping can come by to clean the unit, but also insisted that we take the trash out back. Ice machine for the fridge was not working. The vacuum worked okay, but could use better maintenance or an upgrade. And maybe update the travel guides so they don't have prepandemic information.
