The property and location are good, but there are some important details to be aware of. The host are very friendlt and gracious . They were prompt in all aspects.
Although the listing advertises accommodations for six, there are only two bedrooms, and the bathroom doesn’t have a washbasin—you’ll need to use the kitchen sink to wash your hands. There’s also no hot water and no air conditioning in the living room.
In addition, there are hidden charges:
1. There’s a daily fee of ₹600 to use the stove, which also applies if you want hot water for bathing or making a coffee in the morning.
2. The boat ride is not complimentary; it costs ₹2,500 per hour, and the boatman tends to go slowly, stretching the trip to at least three hours.
Transparency is important—guests should be given clear, upfront information so they aren’t taken by surprise.
