Home on Broadway in Jim Thorpe

Our rental was an older home with lots of charm, extremely clean, with comfortable beds and furnishings. Great water pressure in the shower too! The kitchen has all the equipment needed to prepare meals, with a spacious dining room to sit together. Each night, after a day of sightseeing, we took turns picking out a movie to watch on the large screen smart TV in the comfortable living room. There is designated parking directly across the street and we usually left our car there and walked down into the town center for everything we wished to do. (The delightful train ride, the fun and informative Trolley ride, Asa Packer Mansion and the Old Jail, plus all the interesting shops and the restaurants.) The walk into the town center is less than a mile and is all downhill. (Be prepared for a good exercise session walking back up, ha ha!). Our hosts were very gracious and quickly answered any question we asked by text. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we go on another trip to Jim Thorpe.

This is not a complaint at all, just mentioning that it took a while to figure out which light switches controlled the different lights in the different rooms.

The property was immaculate, and walking distance to the center of town.

There was not anything I did not like about the property.
