Walkable East Nash 3BR with Big Yard near Local Eats

Despite being an older home that was somewhat remodeled, it was well decorated, quiet, and very clean. We found a couple of things that needed repair, and maintenance came out quickly to take care of them. Kudos to the customer service people for keeping us well informed on the arrival time of the maintenance person, and props to the maintenance person for being very nice and helpful to us while they were there. The home is in an older neighborhood that was quiet despite construction across the street. The backyard was large, and our dog enjoyed it. Stores were nearby, even within walking distance. There were even a couple of nice parks that were not far away, and we took advantage of them when we could.

The owner should have taken the time to properly remodel the home. Though the main entrance doors were strong and well fitted, the doors to each room were uneven with gaps at the top or bottom. The beds were comfortable, but the sofa and chairs were not and could use more comfortable replacements. There was only 1 sink that had a stopper in it so that one could fill the sink with water, and that was the bathroom sink. Since the home has a dishwasher and bath/shower combos, this was no problem. The biggest issue we found was that the floors were uneven, and a couple of holes in the floors were not fixed but were just covered by the flooring and called repaired. The holes weren't large or in the direct pathways, but we did step in them a few times. The uneven floors seemed to slant toward the middle of the home in each room. In older homes such as this, it would give the home character. However, these were slanted way too much for character. One of us had mobility issues, and it would have been nice to know about the floors before we arrived.
