Beijing Feitian Hotel

The staff were generally kind and helpful. The room was filled with with all knickknacks one might need such as sewing kit, pencil sharpener, and toothpaste so if you forgot to bring something there is a good chance there is a complementary replacement there. I also enjoyed the unified bath shower setup.

Although presenting high class the hotel constantly seemed to be held together by sheer willpower of the staff. The exchange rate panel with one indicator stuck at 0, the elevator that never leaves the 6th floor, the faint smell of tobacco in the hallways and on my final night I come back to a room with no electricity. On top of there always parring to be something broken somewhere the room furniture felt pretty stiff which I can manage but I know others may have trouble enjoying.

Staff struggled as they didnt speak much english, but having google translate on your phone all staff had patient and communicated with us through thisapp. Rooms were a really good size. Evening meal was excellent on both nights but we struggled to understand the portion sizes
