Goodday Backpackers

Simply a fantastic experience. Durga and her family are truly wonderful people. The place is really nice, nestled in an authentic and quiet neighbourhood, in a peaceful and quiet location. The garden in front of the rooms is well maintained and the service is excellent. Durga is a person with a heart of gold. I forgot to pay for the first few nights and went away on a trek. Not only did he take care of my things without asking for anything in return, but he didn't even mention that I had to settle the bill before leaving, trusting me completely until the end. He is truly a person of unique kindness and helpfulness. If you are looking for a quiet place, but easily accessible on foot from Pokhara's Lakefront, run by fantastic people, this is definitely the place for you. Highly recommended!

Lovely & quiet! Not too far to walk anywhere.

I had a wonderful stay at Good Day Backpacker. The owners are absolutely lovely, and so are their daughters. I was offered some delicious tea several times, which I really appreciated. My room was simple but had everything I needed. It was located upstairs, with access to a shared balcony that had a table, perfect for working online while being surrounded by nature. It was peaceful and quiet, just the way I like it. The location is also ideal: only a 15-minute walk from Lakeside, but far enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. It was just perfect for me. The owners are also working on opening a café, so soon you’ll be able to enjoy breakfast and coffee there — such a great idea! :)

A mosquito net could be a nice addition in the room, especially at night, but overall I was very comfortable.
