Communication was great and helped us organise transport to and from Singapore airport. Close walk to jetty.

The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, location was great. There were also some free snacks.
The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, which is the main reason for not rating it lower.
Generally, options in Mersing are limited.
Ours was a tiny dark room at the top of some very steep stairs. There was quite a bit of noise from other guests.
There is a little lounge, and pictures on booking made it look as if it were part of the room.
Most importantly, I would have liked if it said in the room description that there is no natural light/no window, as we would have booked a different room had we known.

- Good option if you want a single night in Mersing before you embark the ferry or after coming back from Tioman
- The blanket did not have sheet
- No natural light or windows
- Stairs were pretty steep
