Kitchen overlooks pretty private garden with a bench to sit in the sun afternoons and evenings. Plenty of arty paintings, ornaments and tuneful bell peals from the Abbey in the evenings to please you. Few doors from friendly local football addicts pub, close to an array of various restaurants, pubs, museums, Verulamium Park, many events and all local amenities to take your pick. Near to centre with wide variety of shops, arty chic boutiques, antiques and weekly Wednesday market.

There are no national parks nearby, however.. with verulamium and heartswood nearby it is a wonderful place to walk your dogs and take your children.

We stayed in the property numerous times, it was pet friendly when our pets were still with us. It is close to the town centre, and to pub at end of road which serves food. It is in a very quiet place despite being close to town. Parking is by permit, but we chose the option of parking in the car park in town to avoid a ticket. Communications with host, Annie very good, she always asks to let her know if we need anything during our stay.
