County Farm Barn

Lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds, spacious living areas, warm pool. Overall great facilities and a decent amount of parking. Unfortunately during our stay there was building work being done next door. The noise and dust was significant. Dust all over the cars and coming into the outside space and pool area.

A lovely big barn in a lovely quiet location. Great for all the family generations to get together and enjoy time playing games , swimming and dipping in the hot tub. The kids loved the cinema room and learnt to play pool. The bedrooms and en-suites are lovely and the whirlpool bath was also a hit. We went in January but still managed to swim in the pool as it is heated. Getting in and out was a tad chilly 🤣. We cooked all our own meals. The kitchen is well stocked to do this. We were also pleasantly surprised that towels for bathing and swimming are supplied . The hot tub ran out of chlorine and we couldn’t find any at the property but the owner dropped some off later that day. We also had a bit of an issue with the heating in that one room was boiling hot and another freezing cold but again the owner advised this was being looked at as we left. This really is the perfect get together place for friends and families. You won’t be disappointed 😬

The hot tub as I say ran out of chlorine and it seemed a bit grubby - gritty and water not a pleasant colour and there appeared to be no chlorine on the premises. Again as mentioned above - the heating was uncontrollable and generally the place was too hot especially the babies bedroom at 28c at one point with doors open , yet the next bedroom was freezing. Hopefully this will be sorted. Lastly the glassed living areas require some blinds as the sun can be blinding and I guess in the summer will be way to hot in there if there aren’t any. All of the above have been mentioned to the owners
