Cute Place to stay in the Rhine River area
We had three adults and stayed for 8 nights. The Gau-Algesheim location is central to the Mainz/Bingen/Rhine River area. It was even easy to reach friends in the Kaiserslautern area via A63. It is 1 hour from the Frankfurt airport in rush hour traffic. The apartment provides separate large spaces for sleep and being together, and the kitchen is especially large. During good weather, such as we had, the sunroom and roof deck were wonderful! An Edeka store nearby is great for provisions. When questions came up the landlady was very quick with her helpful responses. Although parking was not available in front of the address for longer hours, there were nearby lots when you can park (with a Parkschein) for longer hours and overnight: at the entrance to Langgasse and behind the Sparkasse. As those can change, you'll have to check them out when you arrive. Local restaurants have variable opening days. Many are closed on Mondays/Tuesdays. If you are more than 2 persons, reservations are recommended. Overall very good food - even the gyros. A bakery just down the street is open daily (incl. Sunday mornings). There are a meat store (metzgerei) and an ice cream shop just across the street. If you are depending on the Tourist Information office, it is only open 2 afternoons a week for a couple of hours, as was never open while we were in town. Walk around and enjoy the town! Hike in the nearby hills, buy some local wine and fruits/vegetables (even from vending machines on nearby streets) and explore the Rhine River valley.
Parking downtown can be a challenge, but it is certainly doable.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, modern eingerichtet und empfehlenswert
sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Dachterrasse und der Wintergarten waren für uns das Highlight.
Dass es nur ein Vollbad gibt. Da wir 5 Personen waren, war es etwas umständlich. Man muss durch eins der Schlafzimmer gehen ums in Bad zu gelangen.

Großzügig- viel Ausstattung- modern
Parken gestaltet sich schwierig. Wir hatten am Anfang ein kleines Problem mit der Bettwäsche. Wurde aber innerhalb einer Stunde gelöst.
