Phangan Hostel - Haadrin Homestay

Staff was fantastically friendly and even paid for my ice when I needed some to help with a wound I had. Very quick and easy check in procedure. I booked for a room in an 8 bed mixed dorm and actually wound up having the entire room to myself for the whole night, and I was insanely close to the full moon party for my stay which actually became extremely useful. Lots to like about the hostel. I quite liked that they had towels and blankets folded and ready on each bed, and curtains blocking off the beds for privacy were a very nice touch.

The beds were ROUGH. The lower bunks were cooler because they sit lower in the room, but the beds were super hard and you could really feel the springs in them. The upper beds were better, much less feel of the springs in the mattress, but they were very very firm and warmer because they sit higher up in the room. There was no sink in the bathroom so I had to use the shower head for things that would have been much easier with a sink (washing hands, brushing my teeth).
