OceanBreeze Jamaica Penthouse, 7-Minute Walk to Beach

Spacious, well located, amazing view, nice simple decor, quiet residents lovely well kept pool shared with other flats.

The walk down is 7 mins - the walk up is steep and might be difficult for older people or anyone with health issues.

I loved my stay at Ocean Breeze so much and it has the most beautiful view. The apartment is right at the top of a hill so walking up I would say is not suitable for elderly people or people who struggle to walk for that reason, however there are many taxis in Ocho Rios who will take you up so that problem is solved. The walk is definitely somewhat steep but as a young fit person who wanted some exercise while I was there it was fine for me and the view is so, so worth it when you’re up there. There’s multiple pools on the complex with one just a minute or two from the apartment which I used a few times; it was hot in Ochi so being able to have a dip in the pool in the morning was lovely and made all the difference to my holiday. The apartment is as described and it was so helpful having a fridge, hob and microwave to be able to use as I spent the mornings on the terrace having breakfast; the food in Ocho Rios can be quite expensive as it’s in a tourist area so I wanted to save a bit of money and went to a local Supermarket in the town and bought some items to cook for myself. I’m a 34 year old single woman and I stayed for 9 days on my own and didn’t once feel worried about safety or have any issues in that area. There is also 24 hour security at the entrance to the complex. The apartment has a great central location and is about a 10-15 minute walk from Island Village which has shops, restaurants and the lovely Turtle beach at Margaritaville which I visited pretty much everyday. The host checked in with me to make sure I was happy throughout and overall my experience was wonderful. I would 100 percent stay here again.

This is the perfect place---walking distance to everything. The host was very responsive. Place was very clean. Everything worked perfectly and bed was super comfortable. No regrets and would recommend it to anyone else who visits Ocho Rios.
