Toller Start in einen Aufenthalt in der drittgrößten Metropole Spaniens !

Unsere Reise startete schon am Flughafen Valencia äußerst komfortabel, da der erste Akt vom Axel Hotel bereits im Vorfeld top organisiert worden war, indem es uns die Abholung durch einen Taxifahrer für faire 38 € empfahl. Über "Welcome Pickups" klappte das Procedere reibungslos. (einzige Kritik: die APP schmeißt den Glücklichen in der Folge mit andauernder Werbung zu, ganz so, als müsse man täglich von irgendeinem Airport abgeholt werden. Hilft nur die Deinstallation!) Über das dort angebotene Frühstück können wir nichts berichten, da wir es am liebsten im Mercat Central, dem weltberühmten Ort der zentralen Markthallen dieser Stadt zu uns nahmen. Eine kleine Kuriosität dazu am Rande: Wir saßen Abends gerne im Barravas unweit des Markt entfernt, siehe https://barravas.es/, unserem Lieblings-Fresstempel in dieser herrlichen Stadt. Dort begegneten wir einmal einem top modisch gekleideten jungen Niederländer vom Typ muskulöser Adonis, der uns wohl eine Weile zugehört hatte und sich unvermittelt sehr sympathisch einschaltete, da er wohl auch im AXEL weilte. Er fühlte sich dort auf Grund der dortigen Gayszene unangenehm überrumpelt, da ihm dieses eigentlich unübersehbare Merkmal des Hauses während seiner Auswahl der Unterkunft nicht aufgefallen war. Er fürchtete bei der Nutzung des Wellnessbereichs belästigt zu werden. Da konnten wir ihn beruhigen, da wir aus eigener Erfahrung wussten, dass hier Termine zur Saunanutzung an der Rezeption reseviert werden müssen. Besuche dort verlaufen also einsam bis zweisam :-)

Permanenza piacevole, ma richiede un po di spirito di adattamento.

La posizione molto comoda e la hall veramente molto bella.

Un giorno si sono dimenticati di farci la camera, anche se si sono prontamente scusati Non ho apprezzato la “struttura” del bagno: non c’è porta, dalla camera si vede chi fa la doccia e pertanto la privacy è pochissima.

Hotel in guter Lage mit freundlichem Personal, aber leider enttäuschend in Frühstück & Wellness

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Man kann die Innenstadt problemlos zu Fuß erkunden und ist schnell bei allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Besonders praktisch: Nur etwa 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt befindet sich ein Fahrradverleih. Wir haben diesen genutzt und konnten so sehr günstig und bequem die Stadt erkunden – absolut empfehlenswert. Das Gebäude des Hotels ist wunderschön und sehr stilvoll. Unser Zimmer war außergewöhnlich schön: sehr hell, viele Fenster, großzügig geschnitten und modern eingerichtet. Der Fernseher ist modern, man kann sich mit einem eigenen Netflix-Account einloggen und es gibt viele deutsche Programme – für deutsche Gäste sehr angenehm. Die Rezeption verdient ein besonderes Lob: Das Personal war extrem freundlich, herzlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wirklich erstklassiger Service an der Rezeption.

Verbesserungswürdig sind vor allem die Ausstattung und Organisation: Auf dem Zimmer fehlt eine Kaffeemaschine sowie Bodylotion, zudem ist der tägliche Handtuch- und Toilettenpapierwechsel bei nur zwei Nächten aus Nachhaltigkeitssicht nicht notwendig. Das Frühstück war enttäuschend – schlecht organisiert, häufig nicht nachgefüllt, wenig Auswahl und qualitativ unter dem Anspruch des Hotels. Besonders negativ fiel der Wellnessbereich auf: mangelhafte Hygiene, nasse und rutschige Böden, Gäste ohne Handtücher in der Sauna sowie insgesamt ein ungepflegter Eindruck. Auch im Fitnessstudio fehlten Handtücher und Desinfektionsmittel.

Agradable

Ubicación perfecta. La cama muy cómoda. La habitación en general tenía sensación de amplitud. Nos gustó mucho nuestra estancia y lo recomendamos totalmente. El ambiente del restaurante/bar con su decoración barroca y fresca y música muy buena 👍

La calidad del desayuno era un poco decepcionante para este tipo de hotel. Las ventanas en la habitación no se pueden regular para dejarlas entreabiertas. Eso sí son muy bonitas:) Las mesillas de cama son muy pequeñas y la mesa de cortesía también. Una silla para cada huésped también estaría bien.

Espelho grande no quarto, chuveiro bom, cama muito grande e confortável, decoração retrô lindíssima principalmente do restaurante. Rooftop com vista linda.

Perfektes Hotel für einen Städtetrip in Valencia

Sehr schönes und stylisches Hotel. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes und modernes Zimmer. Lage des Hotels ist perfekt gelegen, da es in der verkehrsberuhigten Zone liegt und man kommt zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt. Sehr schöne Bar, wo man unbedingt Eine Karaffe Agua de Valencia probieren sollte. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen nett und freundlich. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Bij de boeking wisten wij niet dat het een hotel keten is voor vooral lhbti enz ers. In hetHotel allervriendelijkst ontvangen en bediend. Waren meer hetero stellen aanwezig. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Schitterende kamers. Nog wat onwennig personeel maar kan ook niet anders want het is pas een paar weken open. Raad het ten zeerste aan. Top hotel.

Kamer 613 beetje vreemde kooi constructie voor het te open raam.
