De nada em especial

Ótima localização, ótima recepção! Parabéns

Gostei de tudo

The host, who is based in Singapore, was very attentive from the time we booked right up until our arrival.

The outside of the building is completely covered and is in the process of having work done to the building. This could be heard from inside the building. Upon entering we were met with a musty smell. A large, plastic coat hanger left on the dirty, uncleaned glass table. Dusty shelves that were clearly not cleaned immediately before our arrival. The apartment is old style and in parts, looking tired. The pictures do not reflect this. Having said this, it does have everything needed for a stay. As a result of our disappointment, we decided not to stay and proceeded to make a reservation in a hotel. We were booked to stay at the end of the month for 3 nights but also cancelled this reservation, unfortunately loosing one nights deposit as the full payment had subsequently been paid. We contacted the owner to express our disappointment and to advise her that we had decided not to stay. We were advised that she had other, more modern apartments but were not prepared to take the chance. The owner is at the mercy of her agent in Sao Paolo to ensure the cleanliness of the apartment, unfortunately they failed on this occasion. In conclusion, we are somewhat baffled by the glowing reviews of previous guests as this was certainly not the case for us.
