Silent House Tor Vergata

We stayed here as a family of six (kids 10–18) for a post-Christmas break through New Year and it was pretty much perfect. The apartment is spotless, spacious, bright and genuinely feels like a home away from home - well equipped for cooking and everyday life, with excellent Wi-Fi and everything working as it should. The photos of the apartment provided with the description are highly representative. The real highlight is the location: quiet, safe and wonderfully restful after busy days in Rome, with a stunning open view towards the Monti Prenestini and Colli Albani (particularly spectacular at sunrise - see attached photo taken from the kitchen balcony). In my view this is far preferable to an inner-city apartment above a noisy road and dependent on Rome’s often irregular buses. Despite being quite far outside the centre, the apartment is just a short walk (10 mins) or a quick (2 minute) bus ride to Torrenova station where the modern and comfortable Metro C can be taken into town. With the Metro C extension to Colosseo opened in December 2025, you can be standing outside the Colosseum roughly 30–35 minutes after leaving the apartment! Stocking up on supplies is easy too, as there is an excellent Todis supermarket just 100 metres away. Marta is an outstanding host—kind, responsive and proactive. We were especially grateful that she kindly enabled a late check-in on the second day of Christmas (a public holiday). We had one minor issue during the week and this was resolved immediately and completely thanks to Marta’s help. A couple of practical notes that may help future guests: contrary to some reviews, you can leave the building without a key (there’s a switch at the entrance to open the gate), and if you ask in advance Marta can provide a second set of keys, which is very useful when people are coming and going at different times. Highly recommended, especially for families and anyone who wants peace, space, great views, and a host who genuinely cares.

Impossible de sortir de l’immeuble sans clef. Un interrupteur vers la porte d’entrée serait préférable. Sinon , on doit à chaque fois tous sortir ensemble

L'appartamento presenta 3 stanze da letto e due bagni entrambi forniti di doccia, un soggiorno con cucina e balcone molto accogliente. Vicinissimo alla facoltà di tor vergata dove frequentiamo un master quindi perfetto per le nostre esigenze. La proprietaria molto disponibile e pronta a venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. Torneremo!

Il parcheggio in strada non è facile da trovare ma è presente un parcheggio a pagamento molto comodo accanto alla struttura.
