4 Bed in Kirkby Stephen oc-92503

We loved the cottage, over 200 years old, we loved the quaint features. Very well equipped and very cosy. We loved the location, very private, they do have a neighbour who lives next door who was very friendly and helpful if you had any questions. The views outside were exceptional and so very quiet. We visited with our dogs who were safe and loved their walks. We would recommend this cottage to anyone.

The shower could have been a bit bigger but that's only because my two sons are very tall.

property was very clean and well equipped. Rooms were pretty spacious. place outside the house was beautiful and peaceful. There was enough place for parking. kids had so much fun. it was a nice and comfortable experience. we would love to visit again.

The farm is set in the most beautiful landscape with stunning views across the Eden Valley. It was very peaceful and I really enjoyed waking up to the sounds of sheep! The log burner in the family room was very cute and kept us cozy. We slept very well in the comfortable beds and the hosts provided ample bedding. We pointed out that the iron wasn't working and the Mark, the host, was extremely efficient in getting us a new one. Amenities and supermarkets were close by and accessible. He also gave local recommendations which were so enjoyable. The farm is easily navigated on google maps - just type the name of the farm in

Upon arrival we noted that the house had been cleaned to a superficial level - there was dust in a lot of places and the carpets also had a lot of trapped dust. There also was not that mush cutlery. The showers were quite cramped - not comfortable if you are above average height. More cleaning products could have been provided as well.

Lots. Comfortable beds, quality quilts, good crockery and cutlery, fantastic view, rural location, historic building , log burner, WiFi, a selection of places to eat inside and outside.

No microwave
