Good price, good location for bus and ferry transport early in the morning

The location is very strategic in the town with two morning markets with less than 5 minutes of walking distance and night market with less than 2 minutes of walking distance. Those markets sell local food with affordable prices. It's also near to bus terminals and company selling bus+ferry tickets to islands nearby, eg koh samui. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. For me, the room with only fan is the part I like the most as I am always not feeling well under air con. The staffs are friendly and able to speak English. A postcard given when checking out with some handwritten words further makes me feel their sincerity.

This place without lift maybe an issue for some but ok for me. Also, seems no hot water to bath.

Beds were firm, room was hot.

I mean, you get what you pay for. We paid under 10 US dollars for a room so we didn’t expect the Ritz. The no AC made it hot at night and wasn’t the best night sleep. But you’d be hard pressed to find a cheaper hotel - and if you don’t mind the lack of AC, it’s a great value. Room and bed was clean and shared bathrooms were fine. Free bottled water in such a cheap room was a nice touch
