Hotel Sogo General Trias

I stayed at this motel for a week because of its great reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The bathroom had several issues from the start. The shower did not function properly, and the sink drained so slowly that I often had to wait around 10 minutes before I could use it again. I was surprised that these rooms were still being rented out despite their poor condition. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. I had to ask multiple times for my trash to be collected and for my towels to be replaced. Basic room maintenance should not require repeated requests from guests. The bed and pillows were very hard, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. They also did not provide blankets, which made the stay even less comfortable. The staff were polite, but they seemed to lack proper training and attention to guest concerns. Placing guests in rooms with multiple maintenance issues reflects poorly on the hotel’s standards and overall quality. The only positive aspect of this motel is its convenient location. Public transportation is easily accessible, with tricycle parking right outside, and both McDonald’s and Jollibee are nearby. Overall, this was one of the WORST hotel stays I’ve experienced. I would not recommend this motel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities, housekeeping, and overall guest service.

Booked here as it's the nearest place that I could check into at midnight. I stayed for 2 nights and what I dislike was the faint smell of cigarette so I asked to change room the next day. The second room also has the smell although tolerable. As for the cleanliness you could see that it wasn't thorough. The wi-fi is a bit slow too. But all the staff were very corteous and accommodating. They handed me free bottled water and were very responsive to needs. Overall, stay was comfortable for me.

Positive: great location, hot shower and staff are friendly but needed more training. I added 3.000 pesos to be placed in more quieter room. Any other room are very loud because is next to the highway. Upon my checked in I noticed the sink, toilet and shower head doesn’t function properly ( pictures attached) took 3 days to collect my trash and I have to asked twice to clean my room and replaced my towels. This discrepancies showed a poor management and leadership handling the customer especially for a long stay. This is the WORST hotel/inn that I stayed at. Definitely is for short time not long time stays. Stay away from this place.
