Solid hotel but a way off the expectations that 4.8* ratings had set. For a hotel of this calibre the food options were very limited, with only two restaurants to choose from we quickly took to other hotels for alternatives. That said, the food was excellent. You can tell the hotel is new as there are still many teething problems across numerous areas. Their Whatsapp information/concierge service is poorly run, slow or non-replies became very frustrating, such communication channels is a modern expectation within a 5* hotel and we were even asked to 'email the restaurant (their own restaurant) for more information'!. We also had a lot of trouble with language barriers with the staff, who's English was good, but far from the level we'd expect in such a hotel. Made for many painful conversations/misunderstandings that should've been unnecessary. We were recommended a half-day trip by the concierge which was poorly explained despite request for further information to be sent via Whatsapp, this request was ignored. Poolside service was limited unless you had a bed in close proximity to the staff's base near the towels. The spa is exceptional and likely a fantastic hotel for couple's looking for a Golf/Spa break.
