I have stayed at many five-star hotels, but this one was on another level in every aspect. The service, facilities, and range of activities were truly exceptional.
The location is excellent and incredibly convenient. Most of the area’s main attractions and interesting places can be reached within just 5 to 10 minutes, making it the perfect base for exploring.
Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury stay.

Stayed one night at La Mamounia as a solo traveler and it exceeded expectations. The location is genuinely unbeatable — walking distance to Jemaa el-Fna and the medina, yet the moment you’re through the gates you’re in a different world entirely. The gardens are the highlight: century-old olive trees, orange groves, and manicured grounds that make you forget you’re steps from the chaos of the souks.
The spa and hammam experience is worth the stay alone — the Hammam Royal is beautifully designed, and the massage that followed was excellent. Staff were attentive and made me feel genuinely welcomed rather than just another guest passing through, which matters when traveling solo.
If you want one night that feels like a proper escape before or after exploring the medina, this delivers. Highly recommended.

From the moment, we entered this beautiful & Historical hotel or palace, we were greeted with maximum kindness and hospitality. Abu , our wonderful host, upgraded us to a beautiful room. Very knowledgeable & professional& our every need was met With great care and respect.
I have to mention Neda in the front desk Very kind & knowledgeable. Thank u Abu. Thank u Neda 🙏🙏Great beds, quiet , beautiful gardens. Birds are chirping. Very heavenly. I recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Marrakech

I am sure the myriad of celebratorys that have stayed here are well looked after on their subsidised stays perhaps that is why there is a general disinterest in looking after we normals... it may also be the huge amount of outside guests that prioritises their time ,there is nowhere to sit at the bar or cafes within the hotel (No arrangement is made to prioritise in house guests to outside ). This is another issue as a proclaimed family hotel as no self respecting parent would allow their child to wander around the hotel unaccompanied due to the constant droves of people , infact on my last morning a guide paraded some 30 people on a tour past me on the sun lounger (my only comfort was it was probably as unpleasant for them as it was me ). We also had a problem with something that we thought resolved only for the manager to backtrack later ... the food also ,I used to live above Jean George's first resteraunt in New York he will always put out a good product but the Italian unreasonably expensive and pretty bad quality....
