    I stayed at J Dream Resort near Bandaranaike International Airport. The room was clean and the facilities were average but acceptable. The room itself was quite spacious, which was a nice surprise. The bathroom was not very convenient because the hot and cold water for the shower were separate, which made it a bit difficult to adjust the temperature while showering. Also, the shampoo provided was not very good. However, the biggest advantage of this hotel is its location — it’s very close to the airport. It was also very clean and the price was very reasonable. Overall, for someone who just needs a place to rest for a few hours or one night before a flight, it’s definitely worth the money.

    I told the staff that my flight will be arriving at mid night. I went to the hotel past 1am and found there is no staff in the reception. The hotel is located in a dark alley with few stray dogs around. It is quite scary at late night. I texted the hotel and I heard the message tone, it means the staff didn't bring the phone with them. I have to wait for half an hour till the staff come back. The air con in the room is not cool, i can only use fan as well. However, power suddenly down at around 8am, I can only use the room for around 6 hours. It was a bad experience. At least the staff gave me free breakfast as a compensation, but it is not recommended if you are coming at late night.
