I booked this hotel because it was affordable and near where a friend of mine works and lives. Plus the metro station is across the street. When I got to the hotel, it was around three or 4 PM and the old man upfront was ornery and mean and would not let me check in. He said check in time was 7 PM. That seemed very odd to me. So I showed him my luggage and said I have to check in. I booked nights so three times he told me I have to pay more. I told him I already paid for the room so he said that in order for me to check in that I had to pay more , so I had no choice. I had already paid the room and I said do you take credit card? This is all in Korean by the way because I was trying to speak to him in my broken Korean and also using my translator app which he would not speak into or anything so , I paid him an extra 15,000 won by credit card and he was really upset that I didn’t pay cash. Then I went up to the room and it was hot and dirty. It also had half empty bottles of lotion and cream and half empty boxes of tissue paper , and the shower floor was wet. The bed is as hard as a rock. The only thing that was good about the bed was they had enough pillows that I could stack the pillows and sleep on the pillows. The amenities kit had two toothbrushes, shaving tool, and a condom. The room looked nothing like the rooms listed in the advertisement. And there was an advertisement on the front of the hotel in the room looked nothing like those. The hallways were extremely dark. The next day I left to go walk around the city and do a tour with my friend And I went downstairs to wait for her and there was an old lady at the French and she was demanding something from me. I had no idea what she was demanding I was trying to tell her in my broken Korean that I had paid for two nights already. And then I said for her to wait for my friend. My friend came and talk to her. The old woman was demanding that I leave the room with all of my things from the hours of 1 PM to 7 PM. And I told her no way. My friend translated and was like no she paid for two nights. She’s gonna keep the key. She’s not turning in her key. She’s not gonna take all of her stuff out of the room. I was a palled and shocked to find out that they were using the rooms in the middle of the day for Love affairs so they call us the The type of thing that they do the Love hotel or they people come in and pay hourly to use the rooms. And over dead, my dead body was there gonna be somebody in my room no effing way. So I was really upset the fact that I had to pay extra to check in at three or 4 PM when usually the check in time is around that time. And then that the old lady was so ornery and mean to me as well and demanding that I leave the room that I had already paid for for two nights so that she could make use of it. No effing way. The only person who was kind to me was lady who came later and she was a smiling older lady, but not as old as the other one. And she seemed to be more sane. So when I finally left that hotel today, I said goodbye only to that lady because she was the nice one. But this whole experience was really upsetting. Especially having to pay extra and then also all the demands From these two people, the man and the woman at the front desk. I was a palled and angry and upset. And I would never ever go there again. And I would like my money back.
