    I emailed Namsan Hideout directly for checkin info April 9th for April 11th stay. Email response said checkin info would only be shared 24hrs before, so April 10th. Landed ICN 4pm on April 11th, still no checkin info received!! Thank goodness a Korean friend picked me up, who had phone/wifi service so could call Namsan Hideout directly for checkin info!! With no local phone service & no wifi once I left ICN Airport, I would have been in serious trouble with no way to communicate with hotel!! There is no checkin staff / reception desk on arrival, sign on entering gave incorrect wifi password, so I still had no wifi to communicate with management for checkin info!! Again, thank goodness I was not on my own but had a Korean friend who could call & get checkin info on arrival at Namsan Hideout, or I have no idea how my night would have gone!! Owner did apologize saying, "sometimes it happens, contact info incorrect when booked via 3rd party reservation site." My response was, "NO way!! I have been emailing you directly & you responded saying checkin info would not be given more than 24hrs in advance of reservation!! Well I am here & still no check in info received!" The response was, "Your friend called & info was shared with them" I replied "Yes, but what if I didn't have a friend in Korea to call and chase down the checkin info? What if I was alone? I couldn't even get on wifi to call and chase down the checkin info myself, as wrong wifi password on signage!!" Room was relatively clean, very basic - bed, TV, small clothes rack, nothing else, no chair, no desk, phone, etc. NO bath towels, 2 hand towels to shower with!! I would not book here again!! Especially as I paid just under US $125 for 1 single night!!!

    Pros: 1. Location is very close to myeongdong shopping street. 2. Price is affordable when compared with other in the same locality. 3. Seamless entry and exit from the hotel. Cons 1. Small room, additional study/working table could have been a great inclusion. 2. Bathroom door was not getting locked from outside (room no 102) 3. Lack of reception sometimes it feels like a big miss. 4. Rooms can get noisy sometimes depending on the crowd. Walls are not sound proof. 5. Fresh painting would be required
