    I stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast, as it lacked variety and could be of better quality. Aside from that, the hotel offers excellent value for money and is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

    The number one disappointment at Alfit is the room cleanliness. I usually do a quick wipedown with alcohol wipes upon arrival of every hotel I stay at. Usually there is minimal dust on surface tops, but the surfaces in my room at Alfit (shelf behind bed, table top, towel rack, other shelving) were extremely dusty. There was also black mold on the shower curtain. This made me worry that the sheets and towels were also not clean, but there was nothing I could do to verify this. I paid a little more than average compared to other hotels I was looking at, so I was very surprised. This was also the fourth hotel I've stayed in Japan (third in Tokyo), and it was the most disappointing of the bunch. The toilet seat was not heated and it was also the smallest room I've stayed in Tokyo (I booked a Standard - Double). There was a small window in my room, but the curtains did not slide open and the window is opaque so you cannot see outside and there is no natural light coming in to the room ever. The positives of this hotel were the location and the helpful staff. Very welcoming and kind people. Akasaka is a great location as it's relatively close to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, and Tokyo station. It was lively at night and has plenty of places to grab a drink.
