    Location was great, it felt like a silent retreat away from the urban world. However, it can do with a bit of better heating!

    The location of this place is 15min walk away from the nearest bus stop and there’s only 3 buses here a day. 1st bus at 9+, 2nd depending on which direction at 11+/2+ and the last depending on which direction, 4/6+ pm. If you do not have a car this place is super inaccessible and inconvenient. If you forgot to book breakfast like I did or opt for no breakfast, your breakfast is 15min away at the 7-11 just at the mouth of the path leading to the village. If you try to get breakfast from them during check in, I’m sorry but you can’t, at least for the next morning. If you’re starting multiple nights, you can for the 3rd day breakfast onwards (3rd day includes check in day), though for the price I think you’re better off with 7-11. Dinner? If you don’t plan to have bbq, 7-11 too. Lucky for you, there’s a full kitchen at your disposal so you can keep your frozen meal frozen, chilled meals chilled and microwave them as per instructions or boil water for cup noodles. Funny enough the facility has a car and a mini bus. But when I requested for assistance to give a ride out after I check out (as I had 2 luggages, no surprises that one is full of snacks and souvenirs) the staff didn’t try to help arrange for it but instead called a taxi to send me to the train station. 24k-40k yen for that which I refuse to pay. So I had to drag my 2 luggages again on the uneven road for another 15min to the bus stop. There isn’t really much view inside the glamp though you can say it’s like a nice chalet. The view? Maybe 10min walk out… The heater in my room wasn’t working either so I was freezing to death in the middle of the night when the outside temperature dropped to 4 degrees. Had to turn off all the air con but still freezing cold without the heater. The only saving grace to this place is the onsen inside the room comes with hot tub, cold plunge and sauna. It’s really the only thing that makes up for everything apart from the kitchen to make warm 7-11 meals.
