    I booked this hotel expecting a relaxing experience in their public bath, but it turned out to be an absolute disaster. It was a complete waste of money and a thoroughly stressful experience. During check-in, the front desk staff explicitly emphasized the bathhouse policies, stating that guests must maintain silence and that playing or splashing in the water was strictly prohibited. However, the actual enforcement was non-existent. There were no staff members present to manage the facility, and no one ever entered to patrol or maintain order. The most frustrating part was the sense of helplessness; since everyone in the bath area was completely undressed, it was impossible to go out to the front desk to lodge a complaint. I was left with no choice but to remain there and endure the chaotic environment. It is highly unfair that rule-abiding guests who wished to soak quietly ended up becoming the victims, while the hotel did nothing to safeguard our experience. The policies mentioned at check-in were entirely meaningless. The moment I entered the bathhouse, the noise level was deafening. The space was filled with children frantically screaming and shouting. Due to the enclosed architectural design of the bathhouse, the noise created an intense echo, making it impossible to rest or close my eyes even for a single minute. Furthermore, several families treated the hot spring pool as a free water park. Children were jumping directly into the pool from the edge, causing water to splash all over the guests trying to relax by the side. They were swimming and literally rolling around in the center of the pool, completely ignoring the presence of others. The hotel management is sub-standard and shows a complete lack of respect for guests seeking a peaceful environment. If you are looking for a genuine, relaxing public bath experience, I strongly advise staying away from this hotel. You will certainly regret it.

    I hadn’t realized how much of a walkable small city Fukuoka was! As someone who’s lived in Japan before, it was so nice to see small restaurants, a small but interesting shopping mall, Donki, and supermarkets nearby at a 4-5 minute walkable distance. The hotel was also very quiet as it was in a different area than Hakata and Tenjin. My family and I shopped in Tenjin and walked back to the hotel within 15 minutes, also discovering new places on our walks. The best part for my family was the onsen/public bath. Although it was quaint, it was nice to relax after a long day of walking. They also have popsicles you can enjoy afterwards. We were three adults staying in Superior Riverside Twin Room with two twin beds and an extra small bed. The room was spacious enough for us to open our suitcases easily and organize our things. The bathroom was nicely separated and clean. The interior of the hotel and room was very modern, clean, and nature-driven. It kind of reminded me of Aesop, the perfume/body care brand. Overall, the vibe was very nice. I would highly recommend and return to this hotel the next time I visit Fukuoka.

    The hotel is new and clean, location is very good, facilities are minimalism but the highlight is the WASHING MACHINES and the FREE COFFEE! The coffee is surprisingly good!!!

    Shower room had bad smell, probably it’s a drainage issue. I left behind a jacket in the room and discovered it about one hour after checkout, I called the hotel and the attendant was polite and helpful, however, after checking with the housekeeper, they replied my jacket was not found in the room. I suspect the honesty of housekeeping.
